A paper published a few weeks ago in the journal Molecular Psychiatry [1] has stirred up the debate on whether abruptly stopping antidepressants causes withdrawal symptoms.
Correct, and that's why antidepressants carry a warning of suicidal thoughts in adolescents. It should be for everybody but then they wouldn't sell any.
